Hey all. I know it's been a really long time since I've posted here, but I'm on break now, so I have a new project: I want to write a script that will automatically post my away messages in Adium to a blog.

So, what I need to figure out how to do is post to Blogger using Applescript, and I think cURL is the way to do it. There is a PHP script here that uses cURL to post to Blogger, but I don't want to install PHP, and I think it'd be possible to make an equivalent script in Applescript. I just can't figure out how to "port" the PHP script to Applescript.

In other words, what should I send to cURL in the "do shell script" line?

Thanks!

Nevermind. Excellent example code (using an RPC call instead of cURL) here.

If you're interested, it'd probably be possible to do this with Mail.app, using mail-to-blogger and an Applescript.
