Quick question for everyone. Has anyone used the mypower external battery for the ipod? I am think about buying a 30 gig video ipod to watch movies and listen to my music. Has anyone had any luck with it? Does it just recharge your ipod when the ipod battery is dead, or does it power it without charging the ipod battery. I will be using it daily and don't want the ipod battery to lose it's life after a year. Also, what kind of battery life do you get for watching movies with just the ipod battery. I have to charge my mini daily since I use it for about 4 - 5 hrs a day at work, and already had to replace my mini battery due to the constant use and charging.

Thanks.

FYI: That's a bit of an exaggerated urban legend.

I use my iPod every day, I've had it for nearly two years, I charge it frequently, the battery is fine. The "dead battery after 12 months" myth is just that, a myth, started by people who are for one reason or another seemingly angry at the iPod.

Come waste your time with me
