Geez I'm so glad True is here to save the day. You know I was having "such" a problem meeting far too many felonious (http://www.true.com/secure.htm) or married (http://www.true.com/marriage_cert.htm) women. True has weeded (http://www.true.com/member_ethics.htm) them out and left me with only (http://www.true.com/blocking.htm) the peope who will love me forever.

Sheesh. Dating isn't this hard people but then again most of us know that . I guess every company has to have their angle don't they? Dammit why won't these women respond? Who wouldn't love a

Have you ever seen those ads for eHarmony?

Creepy.

I don't think so, moogs. Just for kicks, I filled out - well, I started to - the eHarmoney profile. It's quite exhaustive and it really covers everything.

I finally gave up after about the 30th question (tons more to go).

:)

No, I wasn't looking for a date, I just kept hearing the commercials on the radio about how their profiles are really extensive and detailed.

Yep, they sure are.

No, what's creepy is stuff like adultfriendfinder.com

:err:

Yeah, so I'm curious why your email kept coming up on adultfriendfinder when I signed up ;)

Hmm. Maybe creepy isn't the right word. I was more describing the feeling I got from watching the commercial. Just has this sort of deterministic tone to it, which when coupled with the smiling old guy (who himself looks a bit "off" to me - reminds me of a new age Christian minister who is out recruiting in the mall), creeped me out. Seems like it could've been something pulled from "Minority Report", ya know? White walls, happy smiling couples praising the system itself, etc.

However I have heard the service is pretty thorough. And yes, adultfriendfinder sounds less than savory IMO.

:D

The irony of it is that the aesthetics of the spots are clearly based on Apple's "Switch" campaign.

And what's the difference between eHarmony and Apple? Potential sex. :D

A "very" selective one. Perhaps they knew you like computers and thus you got blocked on that :P
