Widgets on your iPod?

where do you think Apple could go with this???? ive never even thought about widgets on an iPod. what do you think the possibilities are? i could see like a calender widget, address book widget, stuff like that. thoughts?

It'd be so cool if the iPod started growing into a more functional pocket computer (don't call it a PDA!) at MWSF. I hadn't even thought about that.

It already has a calender and adress book, though. But I can see other widget-style programs, and even simple games.

yeah i know theyre on there already, but i was just thinking of some thing they could turn into a widget. maybe theyll make it have wifi and have weather and radio and such

You know, on an iPod I might actually use a widget or two. Especially if there was an RSS reader or something. In most of a year of running Tiger, I just haven't gotten into the habit of using Dashboard for anything... Pretty, but far too cluttered for my tastes.

I would like to see an ebook reader on my iPod w/ video. I know there are some available, but reading them through notes isn't the easiest thing.
