According to ts apple ended its instant loan program and a replacement won't be here for several months.

While the company is now offering a new credit program at its web site and retail stores, it told dealers in late-June that a replacement for them might not be available for several months.
More screwing over the authorized retailers, and I say, "good."
Apple needs to slowly and surely, take back the retail reigns from outside sources, even if some do not agree...it makes business sense.

Oh, they're still useful for something. I remember one time I switched computers, I got an Apple loan with a 6-month interest free period so I'd be able to buy the new one, transfer my stuff from the old one, then use the money I made from selling the old one to pay off the loan. It worked quite nicely. But it's stupid to actually take out a long term loan on a computer. Just buy it outright. I only used the loan to delay payment.
