View Full Version : Looking for volunteers to assist in site development
We are looking for one or two people to assist in site development and maintenance of AN. Basic tasks would include working with the Photoshop template for AN to create new images for the forums, and expertise in XHTML/CSS to modify the templates used to render the forums. If you're comfortable with using Photoshop to maintain web interfaces and are anal about writing solid XHTML/CSS, and maybe even familiar with vBulletin's template system, we'd love to have you.
Like everyone else that works to maintain AN, it is a volunteer position. Think of it as your opportunity to give back to the community through more than insightful and clever posts ;) Perks include access to the super secret "Site Development" forum, the AN test server, and another email address if you really want one :P
E-Mail or private message me if you're interested, and we can discuss it more.
Oh, and on a separate note, we are also seeking a Flash developer with experience creating flash programs that can communicate with backend software on a web server. Interested parties should PM or E-Mail me.

Ah! Ok...sorry, I see most posts via a bookmark of the "View Today's Posts" link, hence, I tend not to see stickies unless people post to them. :)

Out come the bad layout heavyweights...
Xcore NinjaX (http://www.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewProfile&friendID=184881) will torture eyes and ears
and linked member Crissy-Poopy Face (http://profiles.myspace.com/users/5214565) (with annoying vidclip of the week autoplaying at bottom) helps remind us why Avatars are bad... mmmkay?
Avatars only bad when abused imho but that's not the point
Just putting in my 2 cents to offer my xhtml and css services. I am also pretty handy with php.
Sorry, but I can't help but this of this (http://www.drakeshangout.com/gallery/albums/videos/commercials/files/iambatman.wmv) and this (http://www.somethingawful.com/articles.php?a=2795) whenever I see that name. :)
I hope that some serious quality will come forward to assist. :)
Are you implying that we're lacking in the quality department? :p
FYI, I'm un-stickying this thread since we're not actively looking for developers right now.
Sorry, but I can't help but this of this and this whenever I see that name.
I would have used a different username (my normal one is jackfrost) but I thought it really wouldn't go over very well after I started reading more threads.

Good judgment call.
