Anything by Los Straitjackets (yes, that's the spelling).

Saw them on Conan a few years back and I dig them to no end.

:)

Interesting. These guys are like part Devo (vocal style) and part... something. Pretenders maybe.

I saw another classic that had a ton of songs for $9.99... the Glen Miller Centennial Collection (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?playlistId=6593615) (20 songs from the master himself).

:D

Bluesy, swampy, funky roots rock by one of the best bands ever. These guys are so good, and so well-respected among other great musicians, that Warren Haynes hired them to play his wedding in 1997.

Bobby Mcferrin - Bang! Zoom! (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?playlistId=1132940)($8.91) Amazing music from one of the most amazing musicians of our time.

Herbie Hancock - Thrust (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?playlistId=696002)($3.96) If you are down with herbie you'll love this album, if you are new to him, it's a great start.

Joe Farrell - Moon Germs (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?playlistId=515390)($3.96) Another totally groovy album, kind of similar to thrust, a little more out there though, the first track is KILLER.
