cya in a couple of day so i can get my daily average to something close to what a normal human should have
g
Hey g. You have done a lot to get this place up and running, post-wise. Just thought I would give some recognition where it is due.
Yeah man, someone has to take up the slack for the rest of us posting pansies. Thanks, g-man.
Time to fire it up.
:D

Hey, g, what happened to taking a break? Since 10am you've posted at least 6 times. ;)
why don't we just turn off the postcount again?

why don't we just turn off the postcount again?
then how would i become the EbOy of ai.org??
g
g, you still have 13 more posts than the next highest posting member.
So much for taking a break. Don't worry about it though... just leave for a while some OTHER time!

eh, people will catch up to me and surpass me in no time...
i have no doubt about it as i know my strengths (few) and the strenghts of many of the other posters here (massive)...so i see it as this:
the people with the big and juicy brains will post helpful tidbits to genius bar and current hardward and OS X and will actually be of help to the people coming to ai.org looking for mac answers and clues...their post counts will grow and grow with each and every useful reply
i, on the other hand, will run out of all these mildly witty things to say
or will be hit with a ban stick for saying something stupid like, "good thing brad is so good with computers because, as a poet...." well, perhaps i shouldn't be trying so hard to be hit with that ban stick

It's not Brad's fault that nothing really rhymes with 'surgery' :D
Don't feel too bad about your post count, at the old AI I averaged .95 posts a day, over here I'm at 10+ a day.
Nerd!

I, on the other hand, did not.

It's a good thing that my job has bad hours otherwise I too would have a ridiculous post count.

perhaps i could control my post count
if i were to join the clergy
or practice cosmetology
eh, a stretch, but close enough
g
Did you write those down in bed, or did you have an urge to get up and post them? I'm hoping you laid in bed next to your wife writing down words that rhymed with surgery, convincing her even more of how insane you are. ;) :D

ha, no, i should have.....
just ran them through my head a couple of times to remember them, then fell off to slumber and posted the next day...
i'm not that crazy to need to post at 1 am just to taunt brad into banning me for making fun of his poem
and i don't need to sit up at night writing insane gibberish just to convince my wife that i am slightly "off my rocker"...she came to that realization years ago
g
g - I love this thread... and I can empathise with you totally. I've got an exam to study for and two assignments due and I still feel addicted to posting here. :o
Well, I sat for my exam last night (90% - online... not too bad)
I still have two assignments and ALSO a program to write by the end of the week... but I felt compelled to make my 100th post here!
(you're an inspiration g) :D

I'm glad no one decided to take a break, cause this place might die without y'all.
And 350+ isn't even close to as bad as the 2500+ I had at .com in only like 6 months. What a geek. :D
If you drop 1000 posts about any new iMac G5s. . . I will shoot you. ;)

Naw, you'll love every minute of it ;)
I could see you dropping a few of your own too. :)
If I was in the market for an iMac maybe. . .
but I'm not.
However, if they pump out an update to the iBook, you might just read a few posts about that. BTW, anyone can still guess when they will be updated, and you just might win a prize too. Linkie Dinky Doo. . . (http://forums.appleinsider.org/showthread.php?t=256)
Well, I’m not a threat to the leaders in frequency of posts, but I am still a fair bit above my 1.87 posts-a-day habit that I had on .com.
An interesting side note, although I really don’t post on .com anymore – I’ve made maybe 4 posts there since .org started – my post .com post count just keeps on increasing. And I doubt that it is a vB recount thing – as it is a constant, regular increase. Weird.
hey brad you think you could re-calibrate the .com postcounts? ;)
heh, no seriously... it needs to be done... and soon...
who wants to dig through the suggestions forum and find the thread that talked about it?
DMBand0026
2004-06-23, 21:53
I'd post about it, but anyone who talks about it is looking for a ban over there ;)
That's why they took away post counts in the first place. Stupid Neo :p
*long time between drinks* ... 400 and I've been relegated to 6th! ... *leaves*

I'm in 14th!?! Guess I've got some catching up to do.
It could be worse. You could be sitting on page three at position 61.
...What I get for being absent during the first month or so of AI.org.
