Now this looks really cool. I'm surprised about how badly some of these trainees "G-locked."

It's a lot harder to stay conscious than you might think. The video doesn't really give much of an idea but typically they're in there for maybe a minute with ever-increasing g forces on them. I don't know if that showed multiple sessions for each (spliced together) but in general it's very easy to lose consciousness in the old graviton extreme. :)

Usually the slightly shorter, more muscular types have a better go because it's easier for them to keep the blood from "pooling" in their lower extremities basically. Funny that the fairly petite looking woman did the best, along with the stocky balding guy. Anyway, unless you've got very strong quads and stomach muscles, you basically have no chance past 5 or 6G.

Trainee: "I'm losing it."
Trainer: "No you're not, you're only at 2G"
Trainee: "Oh"
