CDDB problem

Hi there, my friend has a 12" powerbook and whenever she inserts a cd the CDDB fails to extract the relevant info (track names etc). We are on the same proxy server and it woks fine on my 14" ibook. When i insert a cd everything does as it should.

I really am stumped on this one. Easy solution?

Any help would be much appreciated.

No software that could possibly block outgoing requests?

No, not that im aware of. Im going to take the pb home and have a play about with it. Ever since she told me about the problem its bugging me.

Any thoughts??
