I am getting ready to sink some money into some new gear. My hopes
were to get 2 23" apple displays however i noticed the hp L2335 and
was impressed by it's inputs and its specs. I was curious to see if anyone
had tried one of these displays on their Mac? Thanks

Never tried the hp, but I've got a friend that raves about his BenQ FP231W (http://www.benq.com/display/lcd_fp231w.html). Looks to be similar to the hp's specs, yet has a USB2 hub. Similarly priced at ebuyer (http://www.ebuyer.com/customer/products/index.html?action=c2hvd19wcm9kdWN0X292ZXJ2aWV3&product_uid=141741&_LOC=US) as well.

Wow, this Benq looks great! With the HP I'd feel like I'm losing a lot in looks compared to Apple, not so with this.

709, are you able to get info from your friend about how good quality the composite/SVHS inputs are, and if they work properly in non-widescreen as well? I'm interested in running game consoles (especially PS2) through this thing. If it's possible, that's like a 300e discount for the display since it removes the need for a separate, clunky TV.
