I seem to remember certain person(s) saying I was not, shall we say - being very accurate when I pondored on this.
I won't name names or remind you of the thread to save embarrassment... You know who you are!

But anyway.... It was blindingly obvious it would happen and I couldn't believe those certain individuals could not see it and were soooo short sighted.. But I did warn them that they would be eating their words at the time...

Er, not quite. Read it more closely.

Unlike podcasting, which uses a consumer-friendly device for playback, there is no easy method for automatically transferring video files onto a TV.

This isn't an article about getting video on an iPod, it's an article about essentially TiVo-over-internet-on-demand using RSS feeds and such. In fact, the article goes on to say that it's quite the pain to set up a Linux box to view such things on your TV.

This thread has really gone on much longer than it should have bearing in mind that it was really just a bit of a wind up / joke etc..

Now this Will thing is just plain bizarre!

Heh. I was tired when I posted. The typo in the thread title made it seem like you were personally attacking someone named Will. Get it? Yeah, it wasn't funny. It's good to know that I made a bad thread worse. :)

Actually it wasn't a typo... Perhaps the typo was the lack of a question mark on the end...

The thing is.. I had read the link I posted and knew it was not directly related to the iPod so I was hinting at the fact that something I have predicted in the past was getting closer to fruition. As I said it was a wind up thread. So I was saying "Will I hate to say I told you so....?"

Strange I know. Just thought I'd clear that up as this whole episode is now taking on a rather surreal feel.
