cool, will it give me access to the mod forums like last time?? i would give up AO to get the mod forums anyday...i can always visit AO as a guest, i can't do that at the mod forum and we all know the real fun goes on it there

actually... since we DO have backups-couldn't we get at some of the deleted threads pertinent to some subject matter in viva? IE the DrA'sTRC forum?

We could. I have a few backups of the .com forums lying around. It doesn't really seem to serve much purpose though. I'm not out to convince people of anything. I'd rather this all go away sooner rather than later.

On topic though, I've always noticed those max users error on ai.com. They must be on some weak iron or something... if you ever see that error at .org, I'll buy you a bottle of fifty year old scotch.

while I agree that the sooner we put the whole thing behind us the better off things will be, there are some threads in the TRC that should be resurrected... one example of a thread that should be saved is referenced here (http://forums.appleinsider.org/showthread.php?p=4675#post4675).... there are many others that I'm sure that some people on these boards (particularly those who did not see the TRC in action) would be interested to read as well...

besides who doesn't want to see that "I'd hit it" thread?
