Because if all went as planned, the sucker (;)) got married on the 30th of May 2004, which is already yesterday!

Well if he's reading this from Bora Bora or some place like that, congratulations man!
How sad! Torifile will have to say goodbye to ALL his night life, beer, $$$, soul etc etc :D :D

Wow! Thanks guys! I didn't even realize this thread existed until now. :o I'm actually going to St. John in the US Virgin Islands next Monday. Until then, I'm STILL working on my damn dissertation. I'll be done with it soon and lounging on the beach with not a care in the world very very soon.
The wedding was beautiful but, and I shit you not, my new wife's grandmother had a heart attack right after giving her toast at our wedding. She passed away on the way to the hospital. :( It was all very sad and we spent the past few days dealing with the funeral and wake. :( My wife is doing better now, but it's going to be a long time before we can look at the pictures and video.

That is really quite sad torifile. :( I'd personally find it hard to watch a video of the wedding/reception after something like that. I'm a bit of a glass half empty person and I think I would let that "trigger" emotions by association.
I hope that your dissertation goes well and that you and your wife can manage to settle into a somewhat less eventful start to your married life together. :)
