Hi everyone.
I am visiting family in Norway for the holidays. My sister has a late 2008 macbook whose hard drive needs to be upgraded. I have an external 500gb hard drive and an internal 500 gb hard drive that i brought for her, along with her macbook's 150 gb hard drive. Her macbook has snow leopard but we do not have a snow leopard DVD on hand. Is it possible to restore her hard drive on to the new 500 gb internal drive using time machine only?
I really can't think of a way without purchasing another copy of snow leopard, which I'd like to avoid doing. Also, I suppose I could clone her drive onto the external and then replace the hard drive, but I'd rather not destroy the case. Any ideas? Thanks.
