I need therapy, but for totally different reasons. It hurts to be alive right now.

I think I'm kidding, just to be sure, someone call me in a while and make sure I haven't done anything stupid.

Where's the :\ when you need him?

And don't bother pointing out that no one on this board has my phone number, if you care, you'll find it :P

Where's friggin torifile, he's a therapy guy, right? Crap, I couldn't afford him anyway.

As for that collection of telescopes, you're not murbot like until you start selling them off and buying new ones every 7-10 days. But the collection is cool none the less. I seem to recall you building one yourself...is that one in the picture?

This is the one I built

It's now belonging to my friend's son.

As I said I got the "Murbot" virus is that I really did swap, buy, sell scopes and accessories so f*cking freqently in the last 7 weeks and when I look back I really can't believe what I have done. Well....I was in some mental problem at that time and that maybe why I was doing that crazy things.

That's so cool! I build guitars as a hobby, but recent lack of funds and interest has brought a temporary stop to that.
But a telescope seems so much more complicated with all those lenses and angles and physics and crap like that. Haha, can you tell I have no idea what I'm talking about? Very cool.

I always apply computer analogy to telescope stuff. Like reflector is PC and refractor is Mac.

Building a newtonian reflector is easy and cheap (Just like PC, easy DIY for cheap). However building a refractor is tricky, expensive and not worth it (Mac parts are f*cking expensive).

Get the mirror sets (which includes primary and secondary mirror + "spider") off eBay for like 20 - 30 bucks (they are not bad actually).

Find some aluminum tube from plumbing hardware store for like $10.

A can of auto body spray for $5

Buy a spare focuser from eBay for $10.

Then spend a few days doing measurment (base on the focal length of the primary mirror you have). Drill holes, spray the tube and put everything together and VIOLA!

Cheer up, DMBand. It can't be all that bad.

One thing I think about when I get really depressed is all of the things I would miss and never get to experience again if I weren't here.

Basically, sex, music, literature and technogadgetry.

I just couldn't live (or die) without them.

I'm not thinking suicide, never...and I guess my reference to it was a bit tasteless and off color. Thanks for the advice though. I've just hit a bumpy road in life here, things will look up, tomorrow is another day. Thanks though :)
