I bought my eMac off of Apple through a friend.

I'll just simplify the exchange. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna do it, I just need verification from someone who knows their shit. :D

rest is whatever came with it in July 2004. (Like the 32mb radeon 9200 card)

17" Dell trinitron CRT screen (A few years old. 2000/2001 maybe?)
64mb video card (model not specified yet. I'll ask.)


With this, I also get myself 500 bucks out of debt and 250 bucks extra!

If you're not getting any money out of this, it's a TERRIBLE deal. The eMac is worth around $700-$800, seeing as how it's the same as the current $799 model but with more RAM and a bigger hard drive. The B&W G3 is worth $400, maybe $500 if you stretch it with the upgrades and the monitor.

I personally dispise B&W G3s and would stay away from them but that's just me. If you are getting 500 or 750 in addition to the machine in the deal i would say it's a good deal, but if you are not, don't do it. The B&W will be probably 1/3 of the speed (at best) the eMac is due to lack of AGP slower bus speed, and slower ram. It is also more likely to fail sooner as it is older then the eMac is.

I get myself 500 bucks out of debt from him. He let me get the eMac before I had all the money, and I haven't been making any money at all lately, so this trade gets me out of that debt.

I also get 250 bucks extra to spend on whatever.

I'm gonna get money for my birthday as always soon. $600 estimated

I couls sell the iMac I own for $200. Thats an estimated $800.

Then, I could sell the B+W G3 for about 600! (I'm Canadian)

On top of that, I am gonna start job hunting soon.
