PithHelmet Selective Blocking

I've been trying to figure out how to add new sites to the exempt list so that when I'm visiting a site which I respect (and which has a policy against blocking ads - like Ars), I can let the ads fly. Well, I added both the generic domain and their forum domain to the Exempt list and restarted, but when I go to their domains, the ads still don't show up. WTF? Can anyone shed some light on this?

Could you post the exact rules here for us to look at?

Maybe the third party adservers are still in your block list?

Does PithHelmet's Exemption filter miss something in their redirect code?

Actually now that I think about it, I think the exemptions refer to the advertiser, not the site displaying the ads? Maybe? There has to be a way to just say "don't apply the usual rules to this domain", doesn't there?
