Over at .com (http://forums.appleinsider.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=12) the suggestions area is filled with complaints about the banner ads. Kasper has disappeared again not caring about the forums at all. Best of all, Tina (http://forums.appleinsider.com/showthread.php?threadid=43670) is back!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know this shouldn't be in Feedback, but La Revolucion is locked.

Someone should go over and suggest they try out the new ThinkSecret forums. You know, because they're very well designed, and ad-free to boot. :D

EDIT: No need, I just did it myself. If they decide to ban me for mentioning TS (and a link to http://www.thinksecret.com/board/), screw it. I never post there anyway.

Hehe. . . and to think I was deleted for pointing out these forums. . .

Ads, tina, and neglect. . . what nice colours emitting from ai.com as they slowly go down in fames...

I was hoping ai.com would settle their ad problems and clean up their act. Ai.com was my first online community that I really took to. It tought me that an online community can be strong and enjoyable, while at the same time provide a release from the everyday life we all live. So it is sad to see them still having trouble.

You guys rock. . . every last one of you that came from ai.com. You have no idea how much you have changed the way I view the internet. . . I am glad I met you all.

(err. . .sorry about that. . . got a little emotional there.)

:)

Well, AI.com would have less ad problems, but Kasper has probably just been so busy preparing that public statement about the events that he promised everyone about six weeks ago. He lives a tough life...

Why confront your problems when you can ignore them?

Well now, as one of the eldest members of AI, I hardly think that AppleInsider is going down in flames. Life goes on over there, and there will be new and talented mods who will eventually move into some of the spots left open by the migration to AN.

That isn't to say that Kasper isn't a careless landlord...

my new theory is that the advertisements over at .com are what cause AO to suck so hard over there.

people are frustrated about the ad situation, and end up taking it out on eachother with these maschocistic political threads, figuring they must deserve punishment.

i really don't think .com ao is so bad... perhaps from the outside it looks like we were at eachother's throats, but while that certainly was the case, you have to have some respect for someone in order to hate them to the very core of their being, right? :)
