View Full Version : Feel the Force
This is a damn funny fan film.

I've got to say that I'm much more excited about the DVD set release of the original trilogy than I am about Episode III coming out.
(insert clever joke about Lucas not being able to write his way out of a box)
I hope this last one is good. I really do.
I'm with you on that, so long as he doesn't insert more crap into the original trilogy to make it "flow better" from his more recent disasters. I would love to see the original movies reworked so the special effects are seemless, mainly. Would be nice to have them on DVD.
"I have felt your lack of faith, and found it disturbing!"
:)
Is that a fileplanet link without the usual mularkey? Most impressive.
Ah, I was wondering if someone would ever give an homage to Weird Al's Yoda song! :)
But TWO Al songs? Where do I sign to become a Jedi?

Weird Al does not sing the American Pie parody. But they're both damn funny.

IIRC, that music video was on of the first demos of QT4 and its streaming abilities.

So, there. :pYou are absolutely correct. I was thinking of Star Wars Cantina (http://members.aol.com/manitsas/cantina.html), which is often attributed to Weird Al but was actually written by the much lesser known Mark Jonathan Davis. My sincerest apologies. :)

From what I've heard, it's never going to happen. I'm taking what I can get from the franchise at this point. *sigh*
*sigh* I've been waiting for a complete DVD set of the original series since the Special Edition VHS tapes were released numerous years ago. Sadly this is because I watched the movies so much when I was a kid that the tapes are growing old and stretched from rewinding/forwarding/playing. I agree, an original theatre version of the films would have been a nice addition to these DVDs, and I sincerely hope that the interviews played at the beginning of the Special Editions are Bonus Material, placing them as a header into the 3 films, I feel, was a tremendous mistake. :( Ohh well, just a rant from me...
I thought I'd bump this thread again since we're gearing up for Episode III. This still has got to be one of my favorite fan films.
