I was watching this highSTARErical video that Spec tweeted about...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FrLgREKD4kk

I was DYING with laughter at all the screaming and cursing and confusion.... it was made of awesome.

So I'm talking to Dellphi about how much fun I always have when we first settle a new world and I said to him that it would be cool if we could do this every so often as a group.... not creating a "Brand New World" per se, but rather having a night where we go to a brand new seed and just play the game from scratch in Survival mode.

No cheats

No enchantments

No weather wands

None of that... just as Dellphi says, a "vanilla" server with no mods, for the hysterical laugh factor for those who'd like to do that as well... I sure would.

I suggested that we could use Skype, but Dellphi suggested "Mumble (http://mumble.sourceforge.net/)".

So.... would that be fun?

Ecuador, Galapagos and Peru

In the final stages of booking a somewhat last minute trip to Ecuador and Peru for May 25 through June 20.

Currently itinerary looks like:
- Fly to Cuzco, Peru May 25
- Salkantay Trek to Aguas Caliente May 27-June 1
- Macchu Picchu on June 1.
- Train back to Cuzco, Peru on June 1
- Fly to Lima, peru on June 2
- Fly to Quito, Ecuador on June 6
- Fly to Galapagos Islands on June 10
- June 10-17 Galapagos Islands cruise
- Fly to Guayaquil, Ecuador on June 17
- Fly to NYC on June 20

Has anyone ever done portions of my itinerary or have any tips for the cities I will be visiting? It's been a real pain planning the flights, boats, trains, and trek so now that those are falling into place (for the most part), it's time for me to start planning what we will actually be doing in the cities the days we are visiting.

I don't know if this belongs here or in 3rd party software but it's geeky, so here it is.

I would like to use Alfred to create notes in nvALT. I've already got an Alfred shortcut set up to create a new nvALT note. I've also got one on to create a new note based on the clipboard contents through a text expander snippet. I'd like to further extend this by creating a note with the selected contents of a webpage and adding the URL to the note. Any ideas on how to do that?
