As mentioned before, I'm pretty sure this issue can be resolved by creating the .ntfs-readonly file on your volume so that Apple's implementation mounts it. It's possible that Apples NTFS is what Boot Camp and Parallels look for. That file will cause MacFUSE and NTFS-3G to bypass your volume, and hopefully allow everything else to work as expected.

Apparently I call the cops when I see people litter.
