They are in a hidden folder. Download Tinkertool, it'll let you force Finder to show hidden files. Restart Finder, plug in iPod and you are good to go. All the songs are right there under iPod_Control/Music/.
Of if you have to do this in Windows, just go to Explorer settings and tell it to show hidden files, no download necessary.
