What's the best way to go about selling a laptop these days? I sold a PowerBook on eBay back in 2004 or so, but don't know if eBay is still trustworthy anymore.
I didn't put this in the bazaar since I'm not offering it up for sale, just looking for some advice. ![]() |

eBay, can be used, I've never had any problems and I've sold a dozen items in the last few years. Seller fees can be a pain in the butt though. Just be careful, and put some restrictions on where you ship your items (countries), and not allowing people with negative strikes bid. The same basic rules also apply to Craigslist.

Try Craigslist, I've been successful at selling quite a few things on there and the best part is, I get cash in my hand and the buyer gets a product, no shipping or other issues to deal with. I have people meet me in a neutral location that's well lit and around a lot of people (parking lots of fast food joints or grocery stores work well), I bring the item, they bring the cash. If they don't have cash, they don't get the stuff, if the item I'm selling doesn't fit their needs, we both move on. No issues, no mess, no seller fees, and no problems.
