Lucky prick! Every time I watch le Tour I feel should get of my proverbial and get to the old world and watch people imploding on mountains. Phil Liggett is the Murray Walker of cycling and adds an interest to the proceedings, and the seemingless endless scenario of le Tour is something that I would love to experience.

As for the photo stuff, no fooking idea. Me point. Me shoot.

Are they fighting, loving, or doing something else entirely? Good timing, regardless!

Not sure, they were there when I arrived on location. These little Swallows do everything fast... so who knows.

I had a fun garden visitor the other day! Thought I'd share it here for those interested:

Oh yes. Black Widow. The red hour glass on the abdomen is the give away on this one. I actually still have it in a glass jar in my kitchen right now. Planning to do another photo shoot with it before I kill it*.

* The only reason it hasn't been killed by my wife yet is that I'm planning another photo shoot with it. Black widow and kids are not a good combo in my wife's eyes (mine either really).

I saw an old black Impala, in impeccable shape, on our street. I took a few snaps of it.

Here is a night shot:

And here is a interior shot:

Nice old car. It probably drove like a tank, but it had a nice vibe, at least to look at. Any guesses on the model year?

Go softly on.

Ah yes. I should have recalled. That said, I don't think I have ever seen one in real life. Are they common in your area?

*Edit, a quick Google search reveals that Ottawa is just at the edge of their northern range. I suppose that means that sightings here would be relatively uncommon, although not impossible. Chilling.

Nice pics, BTW.

Go softly on.

Another visit to one of the larger local waterfalls. Put this one together using a combination of using a vari-ND filter and HDR.

I must admit that I boosted the contrast quite a bit (using Professional Contrast and Color Bleach in ColorEfex)... In reality, the clouds looked interestin but not as impressive as in the final picture.

I could tell, but still like it very much. Heck, my daughter walked by while I was looking at it and stopped to comment on how cool of a shot it was. I don't mind most PP and this one worked well if you asked me.

The Parisian skyline. Flat with an occasional protrusion. Easy on the eye. Warm. Soppy! It never gets old.
