Looking for an OS X screensaver that shows weather info, time, calendar items, etc, etc, rather like the iOS notification pulldown.

Can't be static, because I actually am concerned about burn-in on my plasma screen. Something like (and it kind of hurts to say this) a Metro screen: a bit like the sliding tiles photo screen saver, but with live info.

I wonder if something like this would fit the bill? I don't see anything about calendars items, but it does the time, date and weather at least.

Used with OS X's own timed changes/transitions, that should keep it from being too static.

Close, but it still leaves the menu bar, dock, and any desktop icons burrrrrrrrrning their way into my screen.

What happened to that section at Apple's site where they used to corral and highlight third-party screensavers, desktops, Dashboard widgets, etc.? It's been a while since I've looked for it, or visited, but I can't seem to find it. It used to be part of the OS X section, but this could've been several versions ago (during the Panther, Tiger and Leopard days). I used to go there quite a bit to get widgets and check out other things.

I guess it's been gone for a while now.
