Steve Jobs back at Apple
September 8 - 16:06 EDT** After undergoing successful surgery in July for a rare form of pancreatic cancer, Apple CEO Steve Jobs is now attending some company meetings and plans to return to work full-time later this month. Tim Cook, head of worldwide sales and operations at Apple, has been running day to day operations at Apple in Jobs' absence. *[ Email this story ] www.macminute.com Thank goodness his recovery was as quick as it was, he's a lucky guy. "We are reviewing some 9,000 recent UNHCR referrals from Syria. We are receiving roughly a thousand new ones each month, and we expect admissions from Syria to surge in 2015 and beyond." - Anne C. Richard, Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration |

Cool. Glad he's good to go, because everyone knows that the surgery was really a cover for his mind to be transfered to a massive cluster of G5 xServes in the basement of Apple HQ. May his new reign be glorious! "It's a good thing there's no law against a company having a monopoly of good ideas. Otherwise Apple would be in deep yogurt..." -Apple Press Release |
