I was looking it up at work today, instead of actually working .
Is it a trustworthy and efficient browser and better than Safari? Not that there is anything wrong with Safari, it's just sometimes I get the color wheel a little to often, and I'm always open to try new software. Any feedback? |

Man, I used (and loved) Camino years ago back when Safari was totally crap. Haven't used it in a few years.
It's legit. It's a fairly good browser, assuming they've continued updating it. Probably worth a try! The quality of this board depends on the quality of the posts. Just downloaded it, and am using it right now. Seem pretty fast, I like it.

I used Camino from the time I got my first Mac in 2005 until I got my new system in 2009, and switched to Safari. I still use it occasionally for testing and such.

Used Camino for a while back in college, pretty much when Safari was crap (as Brad mentioned). Switched back to Safari, haven't looked back since.

I think Capella still uses it quite a bit.

Another former Camino user, it just didn't get enough support updates and always felt kind of slow.
