UPDATE: It stopped working now after sending a few MMS
* I got a confirmation from one person with an iPhone 3GS on 3.0 that they received the MMS from a weird 850 area code number * I was able to send to my email address via MMS * I was not able to receive a forward back from the iPhone 3GS 3.0 iPhone that received my MMS (didn't really check this, see below) * I did not test getting an incoming MMS as my girlfriend's iPhone on the other end that received the MMS got it the old fashion iPhone way via view my messages. This is why I got the view my messages on the reply / forward back * The other iPhone 3GS on my plan still can not send MMS after a reboot. Maybe they are doing it by number and not account? LOL
Yeah, I never hacked the carrier files so I thought this was the real thing and then it just went away. At least it seems like att is working on something. |

Nope just tethering, I think MMS falls under the text plan.

I am running iPhone 3.1 b2 clean, no IPCC hacks or JB. I didn't get any updates that day I was already running 3.1 b2, but my regular SMS stopped working. So I decided to reboot my phone. After rebooting SMS were working as normal. I know normally when at&t adds something to your account they tell you to restart your phone to pull it down so I decided to give MMS at try and it worked! I sent a couple messages out and thought they were starting to turn it on since I'm not using any hacks. Then like 15 mins later I couldn't send anymore. I tired to see if an at&t rep would give me any info why it was working but all they could offer was: Quote:
