Steve Jobs Interview Here

Every now & then I wonder if Big Steve is a bit of an all-controlling megalomaniac, but this seems like a real honest and frank interview coming from someone that really loves their job. It's really good to know where he's coming from...

...No clues as to product updates though

And you think, "Wow, someone over there at Apple actually thought of this!" And then three months later you try to do something you hadn't tried before, and it works, and you think "Hey, they thought of that, too." And then six months later it happens again. There's almost no product in the world that you have that experience with, but you have it with a Mac. And you have it with an iPod.
Well said.

At the end Steve did say, "and there's a lot more coming."

yeah that's quite a dichotomy of heroes.

one a leader who's turning his nation into an amoral cesspool, the other who believes the quality of effort is more important than financial rewards.
although i think jobs believes that the quality of effort will lead to financial reward.

I agree.

But you should get a penalty flag (like I did) for bringing a political issue in a non-political thread

Half the distance to the line of questioning.

Why isn't a thread about Steve Jobs "political"?

Politics is effects every facet of life. Pretending it only exists in little circles is part of the problem.

Well, I'll get back inside your little barbed wire "free speech zone" for the sake of argument...

Anyway the flag should be for semi-needlessly antagonizing Messiahtosh.

(I did an image search on that phrase and about 1/4 of them were of Bush. The world is a funny place.)

Q: Steve Ballmer.
A: Right, the sales guy. Case closed. And that's what happened at Apple, as well.
heh, some question there...

I found it disturbing that Steve bashed Messiahtosh so relentlessly AND that SuperKarateMonkeyDeathCar was allowed to drink beer. This whole thing smacks of Libertarians. I call MonChiChi Short Pants Gorilla Fart on the lot of you.

So there.

You think it is weird for me to support Bush and also love Apple and Jobs? It's a conflict of interests, right?

Wrong.

Look at Steve Jobs, he is a staunch liberal, yet his products are priced for the top 10% (or 3%) elite in the country.
