Got an email on my .mac account with the subject header:

"Welcome to iTunes Music Store".

There was no body to the email. Just the header and who it was from.

It was sent by itunes@new-music.itunes.com

There is no reason for this email to be sent to me. I have never registered for any itunes music store. Did anyone else receive anything like this email recently?

That seems to be the official iTunes email address, since mine come from:

itunes_uk@new-music.itunes.com

and I am in the UK. There must have been a small glitch in the system somewhere. Apple has been doing something with .Mac the last few days:

There is a .Mac event tomorrow, Tuesday 25 January, at the Apple Store Regent Street.
