Ok, here's one that may be easy for some of you out there.
GOAL: Configure a printer hooked up to a PC so I can print from the MacBook Pro via wireless network. right now we have an HP Deskjet 3845 hooked up to our desktop computer, as it has been for years, using Windows xp. We have a wireless network set up, which is how the MacBook Pro connects to the internet. The mission is to get the printer to be accessible through the use of the wireless network so I (or my wife) can easily submit a document to print from the laptop. So for starters, what do I need in order to make sure this will work? Are there different drivers I may need for the MBP? |

You should be able to turn on Printer sharing in XP and share that installed printer. Than you have your Macs find the printer through the network. I'm not sure if it works that way with a Mac to a PC, but that's how it works PC to PC and PC to Mac.
