Apparently yesterday my kids' PB 17" network connection began to fail. They only told me about it today when the clock was set to 1969. As I was trying to get the clock reset to network time, I discovered the problem of no internet connection.
Here is what is weird: 1. Wireless shows full strength and connection shows up in Apple Profiler but nothing. 2. Rebooting did not fix it 3. Rebooted Airport Extreme 4. I then when and dug out a ethernet cable (those things are getting hard to find around the house ) and connected directly to Airport but still no connection. 5. Tried network diagnosis under both extreme and ethernet but did not fix the problem All other computers (a mix of wireless and ethernet) are all connecting and working. I am assuming some network error but not really sure where to start. Thanks in advance for any help of suggestions. Now that I got a job, I can buy more Apple products! |
