Can i move the ram and even the hard drive from an imac g5 to an intel imac easily? i have to buy a new computer for the office, and want to switch around the intel imac for the g5 i have at the house. i would like to keep my 2g ram and 400g harddrive so i can buy a cheaper intel imac.

You could move both the hard drive and the RAM, but the RAM wouldn't work. The hard drive would, though. But I remember hearing reports that the Intel iMacs aren't as user accessible.

G5 RAM:
533MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Intel iMac RAM:
667MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Note that you could use the hard drive, but you wouldn't be able to boot from it until you reinstalled the system.
