Hi all..
Ok.. I have been struggling on with halo and X2 and other games for which I really should buy a joystick.. Does anyone have a recommendation of a good joystick for the Mac? Do all USB PeeCee joysticks work, or do you need to get one with the required drivers? I am guessing any will work, but as with mice you may lose some of the extra button features without a specific driver... Is that correct? Any help from psycho gamers would be appreciated as I feel myself drifting into a period of unashamed space combat and trading with X2.... You don't have one?
Funny, I thought joysticks were a standard issue amongst males.... |

Google is your friend http://www.google.com/search?q=macin...&ie=ISO-8859-1 I can't help with recommendations but sounds like MacAddict has done some reviews of joysticks. May want to check them out.
On a tangent, www.x-arcade.com has a joystick console mimicking real arcade, so you can relive mr. Pacman on a mac. Guess mac is made for gaming after all. :smokey: Last edited by Banana : 2005-07-16 at 04:13. |

I'm not sure how well a joystick would work playing Halo. You might want to think about a gamepad instead. I'm pretty sure Logitech has something.
Oh, and you'll need to get USB Overdrive. It's very handy at managing your gaming peripherals. "What a computer is to me is it's the most remarkable tool that we've ever come up with, and it's the equivalent of a bicycle for our minds." - Steve Jobs |
