Hi There,

For some reason I can no longer send mail to myself from my GMail account. I get an error message saying there is a problem with SMTP. When I run the connection doctor, I get the following message:

I haven't altered anything recently and can send mail to myself when I do it from the GMail page - I just cannot do it from within Apple Mail. Can anyone help me?
I looked again at the set-up instructions on GMail for configuring Mail and cannot see any problem.

Kind Regards

Well...that's a mystery. It's ok again now. I didn't touch anything either.

I've had that problem for awhile now. I have no idea how to fix it.
