Yeah, they were down for quite a while. Very slow server response at first, then a MySQL error, and then they returned. Odd.

Seems no recent posts are lost, though.

Why do we have threads about the forum being down...everyone probably already KNOWS, and has adjusted themselves accordingly.

Unless it's some freaky, longterm thing (which the mods would hopefully make us all aware of), who cares? And if you can POST here to talk about it, then guess what...they ain't down anymore.

An hour here, an hour there...stuff happens, you know. Does it really merit a discussion?

Man, could you be any more insensitive? We have to grief, work on accepting those lost minutes or hours of our lives, and come to terms with the mortality of the web, and our own. Give us a break, okay? A little thread here and there won't kill this forum, but it does wonders for healing the wounds of AN addicts (some of whom are probably still wandering about in the woods/on AI somewhere, wondering who they are).
