Anyone else a fan? These last few shows have been really funny. Not too bad for some (probably) out of work actors and a good helping of geeky know-how.

Hmmm...what is it that I like about this podcast? I just can't put my finger on it.

Canadian? Damn, I just *knew* it was too clever and funny for Americans to have come up with it.

Ah - thanks sunrain ... I thought I'd miss out on video in iTunes (4.9) and without QT7, but not so. Nice.

Thanks for the link - I'm churning through a few of them now.

That's cool. I didn't know that pre-QT7 iTunes would play nice either.

Well, I did download QT7 for a while ... but my system was so slow just trying to decode any HD stuff, that I turfed it and went back to my Pro version of QT6. I have to presume that I don't have any remnants of QT7 code working behind the scenes here.

Really? No more love for Tiki Bar TV? I figured it was just juvenile enough for most of us in this forum.

I tried to download an episode or 2 on iTunes but I kept getting errors. Their site froze Safari up. I guess I'm not meant to see Lala dance .

If it's not red and showing substantial musculature, you're wearing it wrong.

very funny and well worth the effort
plus - Lala's dance at the beginning of Episode 8 is the sexiest non-nudity bit on teh interweb!

torifile - you need to fix your computer or something

sunrain - be sure to check out Ep 10 A - out-takes. Lala dresses for the part quite nicely.

LaLa is hot, no doubt. If you like Tiki Bar TV, you'd probably get a kick out of French Maid TV

www.frenchmaidtv.com

Its a series of video-podcast-how-to's, taught by French Maids. Its similar to Tiki, a blend of the funny and the sexy. Well, maybe a little more of the sexy.

Anyways, if you ever wanted a French Maid to teach you how to video podcast, or perform CPR, you should check it out.

I started watching around episode 10 and went back and started from the beginning. Wow has that show improved. I am totally hooked on it but I wish it didn't take so long to create new episodes. Still, the special effects are wicked.

^^ One more quality post from the desk of Ebby. ^^

Volcano and London Fogcutter are two of my favorite episodes. The last few haven't been that funny for me, however.

*BUMP*

iTunes 7.4.2 is having trouble getting ep 29 as a podcast. I went to the site and saw that ep 30 is available too. Is anybody experiencing Tiki Bar TV download troubles, or could this just be a China thing on my end?

London Fogcutter is a riot, as Alan Shore would say. But this is a great show!! those canucks know how to do it: BNL, Guster, Tiki Bar and some of the drinks are quite good. But anyway, the last few have improved in terms of how the show is shot, but the story lines are iffy. But not to brag a bit, but at macworld last year i got to see Jeff Macpherson, Dr. Tiki, along with Kevin Gamble, Johnny Johnny. They are just as funny in person as they are on pod casts.

They ran an article on the local paper about the Tiki Bar gang. They're recent grads from film school having fun and making a name for themselves hoping to get scooped up by studios. Everything is run out of one guy's apartment. He basically lives in the studio cum bar set. They're a riot.

It'd be bragging if you said you'd met Lala (you forget who your peers are!).

Lala got a legit gig on the CBC this summer on some lame "edgy" show that tried to cash in on the whole YouTube viral nonsense crap. I think it bombed. And it seems her real name is Lara.

Great. I bump a year old thread and all you guys and girls want to talk about are old episodes and meeting some of the cast.

Has anybody experienced recent podcast download troubles as described in the quote? TIA.
