Kinda fun. It's a neat challenge in that, the alphabet is not exactly easy to type, the 'd' key on my powerbook is busted(jams), so on my powerbook the fastest I got was 5.8, I type a lot faster on the powerbook than the regular imac keyboard, but still, I managed to get 3.3 on the imac

Give it a shot, I'm sure a few of you'll be nailing 2 and below, you dorks.

edit: new record, 2.45

Can I get rid of that stupid animation? It slows down the counting.

I don't think it really matters, it logs your typing the instant you do it, the animation will catch up if needs be.

I can assure you it does not log the typing instantly.

7.5 for me. I thought I was fast. Oh well.

Um... the high score is like 1 second.

The only possible way I can see to do it in one second would be to smash your hands on the keyboard and hope you hit every letter, in the correct order.

I plan to live forever. So far, so good.

I think most of the highest scores are bogus, done with macro type things. I think the official high score is 1.34 seconds

HA! I suck. 20 seconds. I have a knack of typing common words without thinking and every time I hit "T", I follow with "eh". Yea, I have a serious Teh problem. Spell check is my friend.

^^ One more quality post from the desk of Ebby. ^^

It is. 1 second is a cheat. But 1.34 seconds is real.

6.5 is the best I've gotten so far. I'm probably not done trying, though.
I find it hard to imagine doing it twice as fast....

We need to offer a prize for the first person breaking their keyboard trying to do this!

I find that my times are much better on the iBook keyboard (rather than the Apple pro keyboard), probably because there's less key travel. 3.65 after 15 minutes of practice. Getting better slowly...

Edit: Just got 3.40. Wiping the chip grease off of fingers helps. need a break...

Edit 2: Woot, 3.14!

Edit 3: 3.13.

You ask me for a hamburger.

what is this? 3.65 seconds? That's way too short. 3.65 minutes? that's way too long. Please explain to me what those numbers mean.

That clock said 7.00 and a real clock went from 11:06:31 to 11:06:39, that is 9 seconds. They're clock is weird. But anyway, i've made 4:93 after just a few minutes of practice.

An even better test would be for us number pad masters... perhaps the first 50 digits of pi.

2.28! YEAAAAHHHH!!

Going to lie down now. I have actually broken or sprained a finger I think!

EDIT : And it won't let you enter scores on the high score table. Keeps telling me it has a server error!

I think it would be more constructive if they made sure that whenever more than one keys is pressed at same time would be rejected, and had another one that require an error free inputs, we'd have more interesting results.

My 2 cents.

Oh I'm a 5 something.
