The performa thread and the mention of cleaning out the dust got me thinking....
I have a new, well months old now, PowerMac G5. My apartment seems to be a good dust magnet and since I've read how the case of the PowerMac is specifically designed for airflow it prompts me to ask this question: What do/should I do to keep the case clean against dust build-up ? I've taken the vacuum cleaner attached hose and have run it against the front of the Powermac to hopefully clear any dust build up. Is that the right thing to do ? is there something specific that owners should do to keep the case working at it's optimum ? Also, what are the recommended keyboard cleaning agents ?? I've always had a MS natural keyboard that I take apart every couple of months and clean each key individually, it's off-white and not the gleaming white that the apple keyboard is and I am hesitant to use anything that will hurt the finish, ya know ? Any help would be appreciated. |
