I've got a nice iMac and a not so slim or nice HP All-in-One printer that is tethered to my iMac. It prevents me from putting my iMac where I want it to go. I've been looking for wireless print servers to let me free up my iMac from it's USB leash.

The Airport Express looks nice because it can also stream music and extend wireless ranges, but $120 may be more than I have to spend. Some of the other pure print servers are $80, but don't match up stat-wise (802.11b instead of g, or USB 1.1 instead of 2.0) to the Express. The AirTunes stuff is very nice, but secondary to wireless printing.

Does anyone have some advice about what I should get??

I don't know of any device that will provide wireless connectivity to an all-in-one printer.

I'd hazard a guess that you won't be able to use any of the AIO's features wirelessly other than printing. That aside, Newegg seems to have a pretty decent variety of wireless print servers.

With your printer, it will be hit or miss at best with the 3rd party devices. If you value your time and sanity, you'll use an Airport Express.

you'll only get printing. I set up a home network for some firends with that very printer, and the only way for them to use anything but the printing function is to re-connect it to a computer directly....
