I've only just realised something... previous versions of iTunes (well, with the brushed metal as far as I can tell) were 'aware' of the Dock - that is, if you resized the iTunes window and tried to drag the resizer-thing down past the Dock, the bottom edge of iTunes wouldn't go past the top of the Dock. It's the same with Safari: if you resize the window, the bottom edge of the window won't go past the Dock.
But with iTunes 6 (and I presume 5) if you resize the window, the bottom edge will happily go past the top of the Dock - basically meaning that a portion of iTunes will be behind the Dock and inaccessible. I liked it the old way. Rant over. ![]() |

I'm new to macs, I bought my mini last summer. For me, iTunes has always ended below the dock. It is the only app that does that, but like I said, it's been that way for me since the summer. I started off with OS X 10.4.2, don't remember what version iTunes was then.

Yup. This is "normal" (or a bug that Apple has ignored, depending on whom you ask) for iTunes (since 4.0) because iTunes uses a custom window class that has its own weird set of rules.
