If you're really infected, you will need some serious treatment and your chances of survival are very slim. Go see a doctor. Depending on where you are, it's very unlikely that it's avian flu.

What's the problem with that post, murbot? Is that topic too serious for this board, or what? And what is that guy doing with that blowdryer?

We have already been through this. He came here on Jan 30 and said he had the bird flu, asked us to diagnose him... then he came back with a different account and offered himself some helpful SPAM to make himself healthy

But I thought I'd keep the thread open for shits and giggles. When one of the responsible admins gets around I'm sure they'll close it.

Oh, and it's a nailgun. Kills spammers dead.

ghoti - that ain't a blow dryer ... and is that the first question about the PLEASE DIE image we've ever had?

FYI - American Psycho is the film it's taken from.

What sane, serious person is going to come to this type of forum, of all places, to seriously announce this, and seek help?

It's not that it's "too serious" (we have tons of serious discussions and debates here). It's actually the opposite: it's too silly.

That's a nailgun, from some twisted movie starring Batman/Bruce Wayne.

Man, he's totally going to fry her hair. Split ends, anyone?

BTW, this guy is doing pretty well, it's been what, 12 days since he got sick with the bird flu? Maybe he'll post at the end of the month:

"Anyone tell me treatment of Bird Flu ?
i have Flu infection and am in bed permanent. this spread whole body, can't move or speak. do i need to eat good wholesome food. Can rid Bird Flu? please help?"

Well other people post here to get help when their feet are rotting and falling off. I don't really see a big difference

The reaction just appeared a bit strong, but now that I know the context I agree. And that picture is just sooo weird, I just had to make a stupid remark ...

What would that 2 foot long metal thing hold if it were a hair dryer, hair gel bullets?

He's doing her hair, okay? We were just being silly about the nailgun stuff!

BTW, $5 says "perk" is a former, lifetime-banned member. Anyone else feeling that?

Either that, or a known pot-stirrer from the other place who often drops by deliver batty, WTF?! posts or subtle digs at our origins/existence from down Texas way...

BTW, checking his IP address, I see he's talking about health stuff here:

http://www.usj.com.my/bulletin/uploa...ead.php?t=9742

And he was banned from a penis enlargement message board for spamming here: (posting as jack1)

I think it's safe to assume he's a bottom feeding asshole. With a small pee-pee.

Either that or he's trying to blame bird flu for shrinking his tiny friend.

In the interest of making this thread useful (since it was never locked or erased), I must say it's a little scary, given how many foreigners are in Italy right now, that they're finding dead birds with the virus in Sicily and elsewhere.

Hopefully they contain it in short order.

Hey murbeau!!!

Maybe we should have a permanent BAN on all bird flu threads.

Whaddaya say, babe?

Or... we could just leave it here and see what *else* develops... ...sort of like a petri dish experiment.

(I mean, it's nice to have posters from India. Just wish they'd expand their area of interest a bit. )

A useful counter-argument to the press blaming the spread on wild birds.

Very cool article.... and along the lines of something I have been worrying about for a while..

I can see this being almost like burning witches in the medieval times. Only wild birds will become the target. And yet again the main culprit for the earths problems are our own lack of control when it comes to population.
