I have a HDTV but I got it before DVI was on all the models so the only HD video inputs I have are Component. I ordered a MacBook Pro and I want to hook it up to my TV but I am not too sure if this adapter would work:

There isn't anything on ATI's website about support for the ATI X1600 that's on the MacBook Pro but I figured that it is too new to have any support info. Has anyone tried this with the new iMac or has anyone tried this with their Powerbook?

Thanks.

I would imagine it would work.

Here's another adapter that appears to be the same on Newegg.

From the looks of it, they might be the same item, but the ATi version is purple instead of black.

Thanks. I guess there's only one way to find out...
