Hmm, it's not gun that kills people. It's the flying shrimp. ![]() While I'm glad they had sense to reject the case, the fact that they had to send time to deliberate this case, still sucks. ![]() It's so distressing when people get all wrapped in their own world and decide that they're entitled to "X", X being pretty much everything. It's because of those self-centered assholes, we're seeing lot of bottlenecks in our system. Then there's the dollars wasted when it could have gone in more charitable services; I was just at a Parks and Recreation meeting, and in whole meeting, it was essentially a bitchfest about how there's not enough programs going on. People were basically asking for more, when they had LESS to give. Time to go back to elementary school, assholes and re-learn the significant discovery known to man- 2+2 !=5 !!! ![]() Anyway, I'm now making hypocrite of myself by bitching and grumbling. So I wonder, what we could do to fix this problem? Pay it forward? Play good samaritian? What small steps we can take to make this a bit better place? |

That bitch should be shot in the knees. Then she'll have a real tragedy for her legal team to wield as a financial weapon. I'm sure she will be emotionally distressed and "never the same again", when she finds she can't walk without a cane or bend her legs behind her ears like she does for all the neighbor kids peering through her window.
People like her (and willing lowlife attorneys) are the reason our court system is so fucked up. What a money-grubbing whore... go get a fucking job! ![]() "The power of accurate observation is frequently called cynicism by those who don't have it." - George Bernard Shaw |

Hmm, what if he ducked, and impaled his eyeball on the knife in his hands? He would have cashed in.
Could be legit. |

The shame is that it was a shrimp. Hardly a food item that you would associate with a facial injury if a chef tosses one at you.
Had this been a dollop of wasabi or a dry rib, I think we would have seen a much different outcome. BTW, does anyone else look at her photo there and think "chain smoking, wine drinking whore"? Because I sure do. I bet most of her kid's friends have had her. |

I love how I get painted by some here as the resident vicious meanie or hardcore ranter, when, fact is, I've never said anything HALF as mean-spirited, coldhearted or brutal as you graceless bastards do on a near-daily basis.
![]() ![]() And I don't want to open too big a can of worms, but there IS a distinct, unifying hockey angle to it... Hmmm... ![]() |
