I have a PC right now, and I have about 1000 or-so songs on iTunes. I am purchasing a Macbook (2ghz 1gb white 80gb), and I want to know how to get all those songs over to my macbook (that I dont have yet). I'm almost ashamed that I don't know how to do it, I'm pretty computer savy
Thanks so much

If you have an iPod, this link should help:

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=300173

Otherwise, read this:

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75320

Apple's support documentation is pretty good, the search function works well. Hope you like your new MacBook, I'm seriously jealous!

Edit:
Also, in the future, when asking for technical help, you might get better and quicker responses by posting your question in the Genius Bar.

You could connect both machines via a simple SMB (Windows sharing) network, mount the PC harddisk as a share on your Mac's desktop and re-import the songs on your new machine using iTunes.

Just make sure that in the general tab of the advanced preferences "Keep iTunes Music folder organized" and "Copy files to iTunes, etc..." are set.

A black hole is where god divided by zero.

Please use descriptive thread titles in the future. Otherwise, you probably won't get as useful answers. I'll edit this for you.
