I can't be the only one who has this... well, bug, I guess. But sometimes if I stop a page from loading (for example if a page is pretty much finished loading except for one giant image) and I mouse over a link, the link disappears and the page layout shifts.

Here's a video to show you what I'm experiencing (apologies for the poor quality). Note I'm not actually clicking on anything, I'm just moving the mouse cursor over the links.

It doesn't happen on all sites; but it's quite irritating. Not really a tech support question, just thought it was worth mentioning innit. But mods feel free to move if you see fit. Not that you need my permission or anything

I just tried this and Safari is not doing that at all.

Weird

What was the site in the video?

That particular instance is probably caused by an the CSS file not loading completely. There's probably a class (or several) in that page's CSS that handle hover. Alternatively, it could be some JavaScript code with mouseover events that is breaking. Regardless of the cause, the result is probably perfectly normal for what the browser has to work with at the time.

Garbage in. Garbage out. If you break the input, you're probably going to break the output.

Moving to Genius Bar anyway.
