Hey guys. I have an imac and mac mini both running intel. They share in internet connection via a linksys router. Up until a couple of days ago, I've easily been able to access my mini from imac and vice versa through "network" in finder. However, neither of my computers will recognize each other anymore. I'm relatively new to the mac world so I'm a little flustered. I've tried doing a search but didn't come up with anything that reflected the situation I'm posed with. Help please!

I got stung last night with my Wireless Network, it was working all day, but all of a sudden it did not connect, even though it was WPA it asked for a WEP password and didn't work...

However, there is probably a reason for it not working if it is WIFI, download iStumber and then run on both your iMac and Mini. See what channel your network is on - e.g. mine was on 5, see if anyone else is on that, if not, it is another problem, if someone else has a wireless network on 5, then change it, leaving a clear channel in between, e.g. 7.

This worked on mine, but more and more WIFI networks keep popping up nearby!

Also, make sure your wireless router has a unique network name. If it still has the generic "linksys" name and you have a neighbor who has the same, it may switch to the neighbor's unexpectedly.
