So I made a partition for XP when I installed it, but now it seems it may not be enough. Is there a way I can change it now, or am I stuck with it being a bit small?

Not easily. It would probably wind up being easier (and take less time) to back everything up and repartition.

However, here's a way to go about it:
1) Downsize your Mac OS X partition using diskutil resizeVolume.
2) Using a tool such as Partition Magic, upsize your Windows partition.
