Serious I didn't think it was possible. I always look for a thousand of sellers who sell want I want and bid on the highest feedback %(I don't look just that but you know what I mean).

I bought a iMic2 on ebay cause on griffin, the shipping to canada double the price of the iMic. Like 40$ for the iMic and 42-43$ for shipping to canada. I found one on eBay for 45$(shipping included in that price). It was "buy it now". I bought it, paid it and 2 days after I paid, eBay sent me a email that sounds like "item removed cause it violated the eBay policy. Don't pay the item or if you did, contact the seller".

I did by email and he didn't reply. I can't really clame a refund from ebay cause I paid with paypal and with the fees of services, I don't get anything.

eBay sent me the phone number of the seller but I totally suck for speaking english so I don't know how I'm gonna convince the guy to send me my item or a refund. Anybody want to call the guy for me ? He lives in NY...

Sorry to hear about that. If you paid with your credit card, it might be worth your time to give them a call and see if if they deem a "chargeback" appropriate.

something similar happened to me last year. i also paid with paypal. what you do is contact paypal and tell them this ebay seller is a fraud... they will open up a claim and will generally give you 100% of your loss back to you within 30 days. if that does not work, call your credit card company or bank with which you opened up your paypal account and tell them to refund you. sometimes depending on the bank they may only be able open up an investigation in which case you get your cash back in a few weeks.

I will recheck. I thought they has some fee related to refund. Is this the total (incluing shipping) or just the cost of the item ?

I ordered directly from griffin. It costed me 40$ for the iMic2 and 45$ of shipping. It works well now.

That sucks cause I was not a power user of ebay (I bought around 10 things ont his shit). Now I'm fucking hesitate to buy again. I mean eBay are the fuckers in that shit. They cancelled the item 2 days after I already paid. With a little message "If you haven't paid, dont' do it or if you did, try to cancel the payment". What did they think ? A couple of hours and the seller claimed the transaction... I still can't beleive it. 2 fucking days.

Paypal sucks. Don't use their dispute resolution crap. Use your credit card chargeback mechanism. I'd still dispute this with your credit card company. Your CC will just TAKE the money from paypal and give it back to you. It's in paypal's interests to screw as many people as possible.

Why $45 for shipping? I've ordered things from the U.S. and certainly paid far less than that.

Is this some special griffen shipping where they send it wrapped in gold leaf, stuffed in a gift basked with fruit, chocolate and a bottle of wine, and delivered by vixen elves?

No, I'm in canada so I was forced in "international shipping". I ordered on sunday like at 11pm and the thing was at my door tuesday or wednesday, don't remember. Anyway, it was pretty fast (still if I had the choice, I would pick ground shipping...)

Yes. At worst you spent 10 minutes on the phone with the credit card company. Paypal is worthless.

My friend almost had $1000+ stolen from his Paypal account when he logged into Ebay through some Russian phishing site. We didn't realize what was going on until he checked both log-in pages in separate tabs and realized that one had Russian ads at the bottom of it. He emptied his account into his bank account and changed his password immediately, but he did have to cancel his auction for an iMac. It sucks sometimes.
